Week 9 was a masterclass in how to make fantasy football hurt. Marcus finally remembered that running backs exist and put up 147 points — but only because he was playing Chad, who somehow started two guys on bye weeks. Meanwhile, Tiffany quietly went 5-4 with the second-most points in the league and nobody in the group chat has said a single word about it. Classic. The standings are getting spicy, the waiver wire is a wasteland, and your team is definitely better than your record suggests. Probably.

The Mahomies def. Waiver Wire Warriors 147.2 – 89.4 — Marcus went nuclear. Patrick Mahomes with 38 points, a RB1 who finally stayed healthy, and a defense that showed up. The Warriors left 31 points on the bench. We'll let that sit.
Dynasty Denial def. First and Ten 121.6 – 118.9 — Two-point win. Tyler's team won on a Monday night kicker field goal. He did not deserve this. First and Ten's manager has not responded to texts since.
Tiffany's Revenge def. No Fun League 133.1 – 104.7 — Quietly efficient. Three different players hit the 25-point mark. Tiffany said nothing after the win. She didn't need to.
The Gronk Stompers def. Benchwarmer Brigade 109.8 – 107.3 — The Benchwarmer Brigade started both their quarterbacks in the same flex spot. This is not allowed. The Gronk Stompers won by 2.5 points and did not deserve to, but here we are.
Ctrl + Fantasy def. Touchdownton Abbey 116.0 – 100.2 — A comfortable win made uncomfortable when Touchdownton Abbey's RB1 left in the fourth quarter. He is fine. His manager's heart rate is not.

👑 ON THE THRONE: Marcus (The Mahomies) — 147 points is not an accident. That's a full roster showing up on the same day. Marcus has been insufferable since Monday morning and frankly he's earned it. Congratulations on the only unambiguous good week in this league.
⛓️ IN THE DUNGEON: Chad (Waiver Wire Warriors) — Starting two players on bye weeks is technically a strategy. An incredibly bad one. We're not sure Chad looked at his lineup between Thursday and Sunday, and it cost him a very winnable matchup. Chad, the waiver wire closes at 11:59 PM Tuesday. Please use it.

Dynasty Denial (6-3, 1,004 pts) — Best record in the league but has won three games by fewer than 5 points. The schedule gets harder. Good luck, Tyler.
Ctrl + Fantasy (5-4, 987 pts) — Quietly solid. Never the best team in the room but never the worst. That gets you far in fantasy.
The Gronk Stompers (4-5, 956 pts) — Alive, barely. Needs to string three wins together to make the playoffs.
Touchdownton Abbey (4-5, 948 pts) — One bad injury away from a rough run to the finish. The RB1 situation is worth monitoring.
First and Ten (3-6, 912 pts) — Still has the best wide receiver room in the league. Needs to figure out every other position before Week 14.
No Fun League (3-6, 901 pts) — The definition of a team that loses games it shouldn't. Somehow still within two wins of a playoff spot.
Benchwarmer Brigade (2-7, 876 pts) — We appreciate the effort. The league does not award points for effort.
Waiver Wire Warriors (2-7, 823 pts) — Starting players on bye weeks is a life choice. Choose differently, Chad.
Week Ahead Preview
THE BIG GAME: Dynasty Denial vs. The Mahomies — The best record against the most dangerous offense in the league. Something has to give. This matchup will tell us everything about who's actually a contender.
THE MUST-WIN: Tiffany's Revenge vs. No Fun League — Tiffany cannot afford a slip-up. A loss here opens the door for everyone behind her. No Fun League has upset potential and nothing to lose.
THE SPOILER: First and Ten vs. Ctrl + Fantasy — First and Ten is out of playoff position but has the talent to wreck someone's season. Ctrl + Fantasy needs this win to stay in the top four.
PLAYOFF PICTURE: Dynasty Denial, Tiffany's Revenge, and Ctrl + Fantasy hold the inside track. The last spot is a four-team race. Every game from here to Week 14 matters. Set your lineups. Check the bye weeks. We're looking at you, Chad.
